Weapons, Ammunition and Accessories
The weapons, ammunition and related accessories provided for Sea Marshals are owned by Rakna Arakshaka Lanka (RALL) which is a government owned business entity functioning under Ministry of Defence (MOD) Sri Lanka, and this ensured the authentic origin of weapons.. These weapons need to be returned at any of the 13 Service Providing Stations illustrated in the service chart.
Issue, Acceptance and Storage of Weapons
- All the weapons are accompanied by an 'End User Certificate' (EUC) issued by Ministry of Defence and a Sri Lankan Sea Marshal of Rakna Arakshaka Lanka (RALL) as the custodian during the voyage.
- Issue of weapons, ammunition and related accessories could be made from any of the 13 Service Providing Stations illustrated in our Service Chart.
- Acceptance and Storage of weapons ammunition and related accessories could be arranged at any of the 13 Service Providing Stations illustrated in our Service Chart.
- All weapons and accessories are well-maintained and safely stored at all times in safe custody in armouries located in 13 Service Providing Stations.
Scale of Issue
We are pleased to meet the needs of our valued customers with respect to the issue of weapons, ammunition and related accessories, and the scale of issue could be based on two options.
- Scale of issue can be adjusted as per the need of the customer
- Scale of issue can be as per our ‘Standard Scale of Issue” as indicated below
- 01 Weapon : Chinese T 56 / AK 47 / 84S Semi-automatic weapons
- 04 Magazines
- 120 Ammunition - 7.62 caliber
- 01 Ballistic Helmet
- 01 Body Armour
